Alain Descheneaux is a pragmatic, visionary leader who has been working in finance for 30 years. He is known in the industry as a pioneer who perfectly understands investors’ reality and, as a leader, is always ready to inspire and support his colleagues and peers. As Director of the Westmount Financial Centre, he manages a team of over 60 people and orchestrates the deployment of innovative tools enabling the advisors to continually exceed their clients’ expectations in terms of service and results. He is a member of the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).

Manager, Taxation and Support for Experienced Advisors

With a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Taxation, Claudie Caron has over 20 years of experience in financial, tax and estate planning. While developing financial planning tools and concepts facilitating the sale and promotion of financial products, she collaborates on complex matters in wealth management (corporate, personal and family), retirement planning or estate planning. A partner of the firm since 2003, she is a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF), the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF) and the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).
Annie Rajotte

Annie Rajotte, ALMI, ACS

Administrative Coordinator

With a 25-year career, Annie Rajotte is familiar with all the ins and outs of insurance and financial services. At the firm, she is the link between the team of advisors and the various industry stakeholders. She is also responsible for general office administration, human resource management and organizing corporate events, actively participating in the outreach of the Westmount Financial Centre. She is following the curriculum of the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and meets the requirements of the Associate Life Management Institute (ALMI) and Associate Customer Services (ACS).

Cédric Descheneaux

Manager, Hiring and New-Recruit Coaching

Within the firm, Cédric Descheneaux is in charge of hiring, integrating and supporting new advisors. He himself is a financial security advisor and a group savings representative, and he guides new-recruits during their first three years of activity, in both practicing their profession and developing their business. He also acts as a coach for all of the firm’s advisors in the use of the social media and the various electronic communication and management platforms.

With extensive experience in financial security and group savings, Daniel Chartier is the firm’s reference person in portfolio analysis, investing and retirement planning. At the same time, he is a strategic resource for the advisors whom he assists on a daily basis and for the investors he supports. As Savings and Compliance manager, he ensures that the industry’s standards and best practices are met, thereby helping make the firm a national leader. He is a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
Denis St-Hilaire

Manager, Business Development

A graduate from the HEC, Denis St-Hilaire puts his vast experience as a financial planner and entrepreneur to work every day for the firm’s advisors and their success. In addition to backing them in client recommendations, he acts as a business development mentor by designing targeted strategies. He also gets involved in their training and the advancement of their knowledge by strategically monitoring the personal insurance market. He is a member of the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).
Anne-Julie Dubé

Anne-Julie Dubé, B.A.A.

Manager, Human Ressources and Hiring

Anne-Julie Dubé as a Bachelor in Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a major in finance and a certificate in Human Resources Management both from HEC Montreal. She is also completing a postgraduate degree specialized in management. Anne-Julie has been working in the financial sector for more than five years. At SFL Westmount, Anne-Julie is responsible for Human Resources management, and specifically for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talents. In addition, she is responsible for communication, social media and event organization.
